This sermon is in honor the Baptism of Our Lord Jesus, thinking about what it means to baptize Him as well as to baptize infants or people of any age!
JANUARY 8, 2017: “We are the Magi…Searching for God”
This sermon explores the story of the wise men/kings/Magi: they journeyed from faraway lands because they knew in their hearts who the baby Jesus would become and what He would mean in the world. As we consider our own journeys, are we too willing to wander and to be taken into unknown places to better know Jesus?
We also all picked out a “star word” from a basket at random. Each our words acts as a guide and a focal point for what lies ahead in 2017.
Sermon can be listened to above and below you can also listen to the solo “One Thing Remains”

DECEMBER 11, 2016: “IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE…WAITING FOR JOY”
This week we continue our Advent sermon series connecting the story of “It’s a Wonderful Life” to the good news of Jesus coming into the world. In particular, we consider the difference between happiness and joy—how we can work towards a joy that is not dependent on external circumstances. What may look dark is actually about to receive the light of the world!
Below is audio of the sermon and secondly audio of our own teenage church member Hope Gilbert singing an AMAZING solo!
