FEBRUARY 5, 2017: YOUTH SUNDAY
God’s Team was the theme of this year’s youth Sunday. Ryan McNeal, a graduating senior, was our Coach/Preacher. We had the entire church “pick a side” based on the teams playing in the Superbowl (Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots) and the sermon was combined with a skit. Over 20 youth participated and it was a great day!!
JANUARY 29, 2017: “What is this all about?”
This sermon explores the implications of Micah 6:6-8 which asks “what does the Lord require of us?” Too often we fall into one of two extreme: living in autopilot not even thinking about our faith, or constantly feeling behind because we cannot measure up to impossible standards set by us and not by God. God loves us and requires things of us that make the world better and US better too!

This sermon looks at Jesus’ call to the first disciples and explores our own callings—where we might not expect to find them and how we come to follow where He leads.
