This is part 6 in a sermon series exploring Things Jesus WASN’T—this year more than ever, God longs for us to know the true Jesus and not the one shaped by expectations in our world. On Palm Sunday, we remember Jesus’ “triumphal entry” into Jerusalem. The crowds cheered for Him and worshiped Him, but we know that less than a week later, He would be rejected and given up for execution. How does such a thing happen? It is Jesus’ journey, and He invites us along the road with Him. He is not what He seems, and that is Good News!
