This sermon explores the call of the prophet Jeremiah, who was only thirteen and scared out of his mind when God spoke to him. It considers what we are all called to do and how we can embrace God’s call to us in our everyday lives within our circles of influence.

This is the last sermon of our sermon series on Learning to Pray Using the Lord’s Prayer.
Today we focus on the phrase “for thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever”. It was not part of the prayer recorded in the Gospels and yet this doxology ending reflects the whole message of scripture. We think together in this sermon about what it means to give God glory in a world with very fleeting ideas of glory and power.
