6/29/2025: Guest Preacher: Lawrie Gardner

This Sunday, we welcome one of our own most committed lay leaders Lawrie Gardner back to the pulpit as our guest preacher, sharing a heartfelt message on the vital role of Christian Education in our church and in our lives.

With wisdom and passion, she will explore how teaching the faith—through Sunday School, youth ministry, mentorship, and everyday conversations—is not just a responsibility, but a sacred calling. As we reflect on the importance of nurturing the next generation, we’ll be reminded that passing on the faith is one of the most powerful ways we live out God’s love. Last week we thought about our roots, and this week we hope you will come be inspired to grow, teach, and plant seeds of faith in young hearts.

6/22/2025: Rooted: What Feeds Us to Feed Others?

This Sunday, we will be commissioning our Youth Mission trip participants including five youth in grades 7-12 and two adults. As such, it is an opportunity for us to reflect on what sorts of resources we draw from to serve our neighbor and live out the love of God.

What holds you steady when life feels uncertain? Roots are deep, unseen, but essential. Just as trees draw strength, nourishment, and stability from their roots, so we are called to be rooted and grounded in the boundless love of God. In a world that often feels like shifting soil, God’s love anchors us, nourishes our spirits, and helps us grow. Join us as we explore what it means to live with deep spiritual roots and how we can stay grounded in the love that never fails.

6/15/2025: Father, Son & Holy Spirit — God as Relationship

FIRST OF ALL, HAPPY FATHERS’ DAY TO ALL THE DADS, GRANDPAS, UNCLES, AND FATHER FIGURES IN OUR LIVES!!
Today we’re diving into one of the great mysteries of our faith—the Trinity. But instead of trying to solve the puzzle or explain every detail, we’re going to explore something beautifully simple: relationship.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three in one, living in constant connection, mutual love, and shared purpose. The Trinity shows us that at the heart of God is relationship. Not hierarchy. Not distance. But deep, life-giving connection. And here’s the really good news: we’re invited into that same relationship.
In a world where loneliness is real and community can be hard to find; the Trinity reminds us that we were made for connection—with God and with each other.
Join us this Sunday as we reflect on what it means to be people shaped by divine relationship.

6/8/2025: Pentecost and Confirmation

This is a powerful Sunday as we celebrate Pentecost—the day the Holy Spirit rushed in like wind and set hearts on fire! We’ll also mark a sacred milestone as one of our wonderful youth takes the courageous step of confirmation, claiming their faith and stepping more fully into the life of our church.

The message will explore how the Spirit still moves in surprising ways, not just in ancient times, but right here in our small but mighty congregation. Come be part of the joy, the hope, and the fire!

Wear red if you can—it’s the color of the Spirit!

6/1/2025– Ascension Sunday

This Ascension Sunday, we reflect on the moment Jesus was lifted from the earth and enthroned in heaven—not as an ending, but as a new beginning. What does it mean to follow a risen and ascended Christ? How does His departure empower our mission today? When it really is our turn to lead; how do we deal with what we cannot or should not know? Join us as we explore how the Ascension invites us to live with our eyes on heaven and our feet firmly planted in God’s calling here on earth.
