Today’s sermon considers the story of the Transfiguration (big churchy word for Jesus revealing the glory of God that had been within Him all along) AND places that story alongside Jesus’ lesson RIGHT BEFORE THIS about what it means to be a disciple. It is a hard lesson, and a mountaintop moment. How do we hold those two things together in life?
