Christ Our Anchor along with the other Presbyterian churches in Anne Arundel County comprise the Bay Area Disciples ministry group of the Presbytery of Baltimore. It exist to empower churches to grow, provide finances to help in need, begin new ministries, and support the work of the church. It offers workshops to train officers within the church and brings in speakers to encourage and challenge their congregations. Presently the Bay Area Disciples (B.A.D.) is exploring the idea of creating a ministry to the large Hispanic population which lives within our county. It provide an opportunity to assist the local church where the Presbytery may not be equipped to do so.
