LONGEST NIGHT WORSHIP SERVICE 12/21
Every year, our calendar notes a Winter Solstice; the shortest day and longest night of the entire year. It is on this day that churches around the world choose to observe what is called “Blue Christmas”. We take time and quiet space to acknowledge the painful, stressful and grief-laden parts of this season in order to better connect to its joy. We trust God with our hard feelings. We take time to dwell in the dark places, knowing that light is on the way and that darkness has not ever overcome God’s light.
Join us for a service led by Pastor Jessie and Pastor Jen from Asbury UMC Arnold and Pastor Zina from Broadneck Baptist on SUNDAY 12/21 at 4 PM at COA.
EPIPHANY SUNDAY 1/4/2026
Join COA in welcoming a new year with a service focused on a fresh start and fresh guidance from God. Anyone who wishes is given a “Star Word” for the new year, prayerfully yet randomly chosen to guide our spiritual journeys in the year ahead. 10 AM in person and on Facebook Live
