Annual PITS Stop Concert – January 25th, 2019
COA’s annual coffee house concert will be held on Friday, January 25th at 7:00 pm at the church. Deaconess Juanita Williams and Remnant of Annapolis, MD will be performing. They have been performing at our Coffee House over the last four years and it is always an amazing performance. Admission is free, as always. Concessions and refreshments will be on sale to benefit the COA Youth Group’s mission trip.
Remnant of Annapolis, MD is a family group, organized in 1998 by brothers Chianti and David Stansbury. The group is comprised of seven dynamic vocalists and musicians. Remnant’s vision is to encourage and bring souls to Christ around the world through CD/DVD projects, concept videos, live concerts, and community outreach initiatives. Admired by people of all ages and ethnic backgrounds; they bring excitement to the stage with their vocal style and divine spirit!
Deaconess Juanita Williams, a native metropolitan Washington, DC, made her debut at age 3 with her grandmother’s family gospel group, “The Gospel Jubilees” and recorded her first 45 record at the age 16, “The Lord Will Make A Way”. Deaconess Williams is member of Family First Ministries Church in Leesburg, VA where she is the Minister of Music and the Director of the Youth Department. Deaconess Williams has performed in several venues internationally with well-known artists such as: The Staple Singers, Aretha Franklin, The Williams Brothers, The Jackson Southerneers, Stevie Wonder, The Clark Sisters, just to name a few. She recorded the single, “From Me To You,” with the legendary Winfield Parker. She was also blessed to perform at one of President Barrack Obama’s Inauguration Balls.
