Christ Our Anchor Presbyterian Church is broadening its vision for mission. In listening to our surrounding community (of all ages), what we hear over and over again is that one of the great unmet needs is in the area of mental health and addiction. We think the church could be a great witness in these areas by getting more involved. Here are two ways we are doing just that:
Presentation on Resilience and Mental Health: Monday 8/28 at 6:30 PM
This presentation will be conducted by two experienced staff of Anne Arundel County Mental Health Agency and focuses on how every one of us can build towards better mental health and stability, regardless of whether you have a diagnosis, or are simply a loved one in the life of someone else who does. The intent of this presentation is to focus on positive tools for better daily functioning of everyone involved with these issues in any capacity. Anyone is welcome—please feel free to bring family, friends or neighbors.
RSVP is needed due to space constraints. Please respond if you can attend to firstname.lastname@example.org by no later than Thursday 8/24.
