COA is made up of long-time members and also many newer folks, all of whom have a lot to offer! We are enriched and inspired to see a variety of people who use their gifts and try new things. That said, we would love to see more of you trying out being a Lay Reader or a Greeter one Sunday at worship.
The Greeter stands at the door as people come in and is simply a friendly welcoming, smiling face.
The Reader is given everything they need ahead of time. Everything (prayers/scripture/etc) is prepared; you just need to be able to read it.
