Dear Members and Friends of Christ Our Anchor,
I want to thank you for being a partner in the ministry and mission of Christ Our Anchor Presbyterian Church. Your ongoing financial support is making a difference in the lives of many people and the ministries and missions of our vibrant church!
COVID-19 does not appear to be ending soon. It is in many of our cities. It is making its way into our churches. Please keep our congregation in your prayers as we move forward together. Despite the changes in our lives from COVID-19, we are moving forward as a church and as individuals, maturing in the life of faith together. Part of that maturation is growing in our ability to give of our love to God and one another.
Our stewardship theme this year is “Giving and Growing”. God is working through us and the things we do to accomplish positive change in the world. Every time we give, that gift becomes ministry and mission. Our monetary gifts to the church and the use of those gifts in ministry are signs of our love. Giving to the church is a response to God’s abundant gifts of grace and God’s call for us to live abundantly. It’s a way to give thanks as well as support our mission and ministry together.
As you consider making a pledge to COA start by looking at your life, the blessings you receive, and the ways that you’d like to grow as a person and as a member of our church community. Ask yourself, how is God calling you to give? We encourage you to give a gift that is a meaningful percentage of your income as one person who is a part of our giving and growing community. If we all give a gift that is meaningful to us, then we will be able to reach our goal.
You can submit your estimate of your gift using whichever of the following is easiest for you:
