FELLOWSHIP & EVENTS

Christ Our Anchor enjoys many special activities and opportunities to enjoy each other in food and fellowship and learning. Examples include our annual "Hanging of the Greens and Chili Dinner ", "Souper Bowl Sunday", seasonal activities like picnics and Octoberfest, "Eight is Enough" themed dinners and more.

We also offer small group studies and fellowship opportunities including a monthly book club, a twice monthly ChristCare group for Mothers of Special Needs Children, an annual Women's Retreat the last week of April, many special youth retreats and activities, musical opportunities for all ages, and children's activities like Vacation Bible School and the annual Christmas Pageant.

All are welcomed into our church and into our many activities!

COA Book Club
Everyone Welcome! Meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm

COA Prayer Group - Meeting the 3rd Tuesdays of each month at COA to pray together and discuss prayer.

Stephen Ministry Training -- Stay tuned for updates on this vital ministry.

COA Book Club -- This lively group of men and women meet once a month on the 3rd Wednesday evening of the month at 7:00pm in different members' homes. They study a wonderful variety of current books and old favorites, too. For a schedule of the meetings and the location, contact Alice Robeson at 410-757-6967.

COA Men's Book Club -- Join this special Men's Book Club on the first Tuesday evening of the month at 7:00pm in different member's homes. For a schedule of the meetings and the location, contact Tom Rorick at 410-757-5684.

God's Gardeners Group -- Don't Miss Out -- Gather at the church to Beautify God's House by working on the church grounds! It only takes an hour a week and its perfect for the "gardeners" in our congregation. Currently meeting on Mondays at 6:30pm. Bring you garden gloves!

Volunteers needed to mow the grass! Help us keep the church grounds beautiful this summer. Sign up in the Narthex for a week this summer or call the office.

COA Men's Breakfast -- Date TBA

"8 Is Enough" Fellowship Dinners - An enjoyable gathering of groups of 8 in individual homes to fellowship and share delicious food following a theme.

- Watch for sign-up sheets on the bulletin board for the next round of dinners

Property Committee Needs You - Join this group of dedicated individuals who work to keep the church building in good repair and attractive. Most work is accomplished during the Mission Saturdays on the 3rd Saturday of the month.
