Offering the Following Pre-School Part-Time Programs:
2 Year Old Program
Our goal for our 2 year olds is for the children to develop a strong sense of self and self esteem. We foster this through the loving and nurturing relationships with our teachers. The children are offered a variety of play materials , and many ways to express themselves creatively.
3 Year Old Program
Our 3 year olds flourish in an accepting environment where their educational social and emotional development is gently guided and encouraged. The three year old preschool experience is a balance of free play, outdoor play, structured group activities, music, and art
4 Year Old Program
The 4 year olds continue on with our foundational learning style. Each class is filled with age appropriate learning activities directed by our teachers. This program offers an added academic component of letters, phonetic awareness along with math concepts and numbers. After completion of this program children are fully prepared to enter kindergarten.
Our Pre-K program is designed to meet the needs of children aged 4 and 5 preparing to enter kindergarten the following year. Our Pre-k class uses the Open Court thematic literature based Reading Readiness Program. Our Math Program teaches children hands on experiences with mathematical concepts and logic.
Lunch Program "Lunch Bunch"
An optional lunch program is available daily from 11:30-12:25 for a nominal fee. This program allows children to develop and learn important social skills while enjoying a less structured atmosphere.
Program = $5.OO/day
Chapel
All classes attend chapel lessons on a monthly basis. The faith curriculum is is based on everyday values while using age appropriate activities to explore and understand God's love.
Environment
Children learn by doing. Children use all their senses when interacting with the world around them. We will provide a secure environment in which children will feel confident in accepting new challenges and
dare to grow.
Learning activities are provided throughout the day by using a system of learning centers. These centers include activities to stimulate curiosity, language skills, art, music, math and much more. Children learn through play; play is a childs work
Anchors-A-Wee is a licensed child care facility.
